E-glide

We're proud and excited to announce that the shop is now carrying E-Glide skateboards. It's been a while since we've carried electric boards, and after a lot of requests and research, we found E-Glide. They're made here in the U.S.A and the decks are name brand: Dewey Weber, Sector 9, and Madrid.

We've test drove them and these boards are amazing. Because of the European electronics and the direct cable connection between throttle and board, these boards are better built and more responsive than the first generation boards we carried a few years back. They're great too because E-Glides are designed for easy part replacement, and customers can self service their powerboards. In shipping, one of our boards got damaged and E-glide was quick to send out new parts resulting in an easy fix.

Sounds of Waves: live the life you love. A film about surfing, music, and people.

Playing right now in the shop is a new DVD called Sound of Waves by the guys from Monumental films. The whole crew had gone to the premier party out in Sag Harbor back in September and it's an awesome movie.

It features an all-star lineup of pros including our team rider Damien Wills and local Chris Tomlin, sweet footage from around the world and a soundtrack that will keep you jamming.

Oh i forgot to mention... not only does it showcase our boy Damien, but... drum roll please... a whole section featuring the Nature's Shapes showroom and Mike shaping a board from start to finish. It's cool to see the shop from when it first opened up and gives you insight into how much of an art form hand-shaping a board truly is.

Despite all that it's worth watching just for the sake of seeing all the footage from South America. It's mind blowing how beautiful the waves and the scenery is.

Wetsuits!!!!

Weather's getting chilly quickly with all this rain. We just got in lots of mens and womens wetsuits from Hyperflex, West and Ripcurl. We also have a full stock of gloves and boots to keep your fingers and toes toasty.


The showroom is also busting at the seems with new and used boards. There's suppose to be a decent swell coming through this weekend, so why not come on down and pick up a new board to surf?
